What are CBD Capsules?

CBD capsules are another popular way to take cannabidiol (CBD for short). The valuable CBD is extracted through a gentle process from certified hemp that we plant, cultivate, harvest and process by hand on our sun-drenched fields in Italy. The extract is enclosed in a
soft gelatine capsule.

They are tasteless and you can take them discreetly in a few seconds with a sip of water. The shell dissolves in the digestive tract and the CBD is almost completely absorbed and utilised.

Besides cannabidiol, the capsule contains other natural hemp molecules such as hemp seed oil and natural tocopherols (full-spectrum CBD capsules: cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids).

The single ingredients reinforce each other, allowing you to enjoy a particularly balanced overall effect.

Effect of CBD capsules

The effect of CBD Capsule is largely due to the eponymous cannabidiol (CBD). This natural cannabinoid interacts with the body's endocannabinoid system (ECS), whose receptors are distributed throughout the body.

In relation to this, a distinction is made between CB1 and CB2 receptors. The first are found in the central nervous system and in the brain. The second are found everywhere in the body.
The ECS contributes to the control of important body functions and forms a complex and
fragile system that can get out of balance from time to time.

In such cases, CBD intake can make a crucial contribution to restoring the optimal cannabinoid balance and thus increase overall well-being.

Uses of CBD capsules

The power of hemp has been known for centuries, and lately, more and more people have discovered CBD capsules' beneficial properties. Even modern medicine and science are taking a keen interest in the possible uses of natural products made from cannabis.

Initial studies and field reports show that CBD can help:

  • Increase general well-being
  • Relieve pain and inflammation
  • Enjoy better sleep (e.g. if you have problems falling asleep or sleeping through the night)
  • Counteract stress and open the path toward inner peace
  • Keep anxiety and depressive moods at bay
  • Leave nausea and gastrointestinal discomfort behind you

Nevertheless, taking CBD capsules does not replace a visit to the doctor. Medically necessary treatments and medications should only be supplemented with CBD after having consulted a doctor.

If you want to do something good for yourself or are looking for a natural alternative to get support for one of the complaints just mentioned, try out our CBD capsules.

Benefits of CBD capsules

Whether to take your daily portion of CBD in the form of oil or capsules is a decision you have to make yourself. Purity, quality, and effect are identical. However, if you don't particularly appreciate the taste of CBD oil, for example, CBD capsules are a perfect alternative.

Advantages of cannabidiol capsules:

  • Pre-dosed (33.6 mg CBD / capsule) and accordingly safe
  • Uncomplicated intake within seconds
  • Hygienically packed and leak-proof
  • Easy to carry in your pocket
  • Tasteless and odourless
  • Easy to integrate into daily life

How to take CBD capsules

To achieve the best possible results, you should take your feel-good dose of CBD regularly.

You can take your CBD capsules up to three times a day sticking to the following recommendation:

  1. Press the CBD capsule out of the blister and get a glass of water.
  2. Put the capsule in the mouth and swallow it with a large gulp of water.
  3. Rinse with a little water and you're done.

CBD Capsules dosage

Taking CBD capsules is even easier than taking CBD oil, because you don’t even have to dose them. Every capsule contains the same amount of CBD. So you don't need to worry about calculating the dose.

To be precise, enecta's CBD capsules contain 33.6 mg CBD. This amount corresponds to an average dosage.

No spillage and excellent bioavailability speak for themselves. However, CBD capsules cannot be split, because their content - valuable hemp seed oil and CBD - is liquid and would dissipate.

Side effects of CBD capsules

Myths and dangerous half-truths persist. However, the latest studies, field reports, and research results come to reassuring conclusions: Cannabidiol and CBD-containing products are considered safe and well-tolerated.

Nevertheless, it cannot be excluded that (mostly) harmless, short-term side effects may occur, among which: Restlessness, tiredness, dry mouth, decreased appetite, and diarrhoea.

If you suffer from such side effects after taking CBD capsules, you should either reduce the dosage or do without CBD. It is still important to underline that one should avoid products containing cannabinoids during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

In addition, you should use them in combination with medicines only after having spoken to a doctor.

What should I look for when buying CBD capsules?

If you are planning to purchase CBD capsules, we advise you to pay special attention to the following factors:

1. Quality of CBD oil: The basis for high-quality CBD capsules is good CBD oil. We extract our oil from EU-certified plants that we have specially developed for the production of extracts. During cultivation, we refrain from using chemical additives of any kind.

2. Product purity: Since you are buying CBD capsules to consume, you should be sure that they are not contaminated in any way. We have all our products tested by independent third-party laboratories and can therefore guarantee the purity of our products. For more information about the tests carried out and the corresponding certificates, please feel free to contact our customer service.

3. Fair price: The way we see it, a fair price is on the one hand affordable for as many people as possible. On the other hand, it is not based on the exploitation of labour, resources, and the environment. On the contrary, a fair price implies protecting soil biodiversity and creating job security.

How are CBD capsule made?

Roughly speaking, the production of CBD capsules can be divided into three steps:

1. The oil: We extract our CBD oil ourselves, and not from just any commercial hemp. At enecta, we use organically grown, EU-certified hemp plants that stand out because of their high CBD content. After having extracted it, we dilute the CBD in hemp seed oil, which we also produce ourselves. So you can be sure that only the best of the hemp plant goes into our capsules.

2. The capsule shell: Capsule shells can be made from cellulose (vegetable) or gelatine (animal). The choice depends on the customer's dietary habits.

3. The sealing: The last step is to pour the oil into the capsule shell and then seal it. This way you protect the valuable ingredients from air and moisture.

CBD capsules testimonials

CBD capsules may be less well-known than CBD oil. However, more and more people are turning to this practical alternative to benefit from the beneficial properties of cannabidiol. As a result, testimonials and reviews are proliferating.

Three areas come up particularly often in these reports: pain, sleep disorders and anxiety. Many also recommend it to lighten mood and increase general well-being.

Although individual experiences can vary, it can generally be said that the positive experiences clearly outweigh the negative.

Legal status of CBD capsules

When talking about hemp and cannabinoids, occasionally a certain suspicion still resonates and some might wonder if CBD products are really legal.

We are here to dispel the very last doubts: CBD is legal in all its forms. And for good reason: it has no intoxicating effect, is considered safe and extremely well-tolerated, and does not cause dependence.

With this in mind, the following regulations must be observed when selling CBD products:

  • They must contain less than 0.2% THC
  • They must not be offered as food or medicine
  • They can be acquired from the age of eighteen

It goes without saying that all our products comply with these regulations.
You don't need to worry about legal matters with us!

FAQ CBD Capsules

Compared to CBD oil, CBD capsules are a much less common way to take CBD. Accordingly, there are many questions, and we have tried to answer the most common ones.

Due to the hygienic, airtight packaging, you can store your cannabidiol capsules for several weeks or even months without any problems.

Make sure not to expose them to direct sunlight or
excessively high temperatures.

By the way, a package at enecta contains a total of 30 CBD capsules (total amount of CBD: 1,000 mg = one bottle of CBD oil 10 %).

This means that you are supplied for one month if you want to take 33.6 milligrams of CBD a day.

Capsules kick somewhat later than CBD oil. This is because CBD oil is already absorbed by the oral mucosa.

Capsules, on the contrary, only decompose in the gastrointestinal tract. How long it takes for the capsules to work depends on how fast your metabolism works and how long it has been since your last meal.

Generally, it should take about an hour. How long the effect lasts also varies from person to person. As a rule, one capsule has you covered for 6 to 8 hours.

There is no danger of a life-threatening overdose. A study was carried out in which users were given around
1,000 milligrams of CBD daily, which corresponds to 30 capsules.

The result: Even with such astronomically high amounts, no dangerous effects were observed.

CBD capsules are the choice for those who like it simple, fast, and discreet. The blister is easy to transport and ensures that you can take your CBD ration - even on the go.

With the capsules, you don't have to worry about the dosage. You know exactly how much CBD one capsule contains.

In summary, CBD capsules are recommended if you:

  1. Travel a lot and still don't want to do without CBD.
  2. Not liking the taste of hemp oil.
  3. Always want to know exactly how many milligrams of CBD you are taking.
  4. Want to supply your body with cannabidiol discreetly and quickly.
  5. Have difficulty dosing CBD oil precisely.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) has examined CBD and found that there is no danger of addiction. Even when taken daily over a longer period of time, CBD causes neither a physical nor a psychological dependence.

So if you do not take a CBD capsule or two, rest assured that you won’t experience any no withdrawal symptoms.

A high price does not necessarily stand for high quality. Conversely, cheap products can also be incredibly good. When it comes to CBD capsules, however, you should be suspicious of a very low prices. These are often at the expense of quality.

A pack containing 30 capsules with a balanced dosage (between 25 and 50 mg) should in principle cost between 20 and 50 euros.

For very high-dose capsules (up to 100 mg), you can expect to spend between 80 and 100 euros for the same pack.
