Although using CBD oil taken orally is popular, many say they prefer the instant effects that can be achieved through using cannabidiol for vape. But can you vape your regular CBD oil? What are your options when it comes to formulations of cannabidiol for vape?

To make your own e-juice, you would have to mix an organic CBD oil with vegetable glycerin (VG), so unless you’re eager to try your hand at making e-juice, CBD oil is less suitable for vape and more suitable for taking orally.

CBD E-liquid or oil for vape

Mixing your own e-liquid is inadvisable unless you’re a real enthusiast. You may not get anything that’s half as pleasant to vape as you’re expecting, so letting the experts do it for you makes a lot of sense. You can go for a natural cannabis flavor, or even choose a flavored vape that tastes of something completely different. If you choose a flavored option, ensure that a natural essence is used for flavoring, as you don’t want to spoil your vape with synthetic chemicals.

E liquids such as this are perfect for your regular vape pen, handheld vaporizer or desktop vaporizer that you would generally use for vaping e-liquids.

Cannabidiol for vape: Dabbing CBD

If you prefer using a dab rig, you won’t be alone. Although dabbing is less portable and more cumbersome, it does provide a nice chug of vapor. Most advise that those trying out concentrates for the first time choose a vape pen. If they like the effect, they can wade in deeper by trying out dabbing.

For dabbing, you would use CBD crystals, and it really is the purest form of CBD on the market today. 99% of the crystal is pure CBD, with 1% consisting of a few remaining plant based residue concentrates.

Why people choose dabbing and vaping to take their CBD

Although vaping is often associated with smoking, it’s not the same thing at all. The harmful particles and chemicals in smoke don’t factor in vape, which is quite simply the vapor that comes from the e-liquid or crystal that you use. Intense heat makes it turn into a vapor, and you simply inhale that.

Capillaries in the lungs draw the vaporized CBD into the bloodstream, bypassing the delays and inefficiencies of the digestive tract altogether. You can immediately feel the effect of the CBD and know when you have achieved your goal: relaxation before sleep or any one of the countless reasons why CBD interests people so much. This takes the guesswork out of using CBD and puts you in the driver’s seat.

Still concerned? A study conducted at the University of California actually recommends vaping as a safe and effective way of administering cannabinoids for medicinal purposes. Meanwhile, the UK health authorities found that smoking is 95% less harmful than smoking, and does not pose a public health risk. Now, instead of using addictive nicotine, we can use cannabidiol for vape.
