What benefits do CBD cosmetics offer? This is the crucial question. The number of studies is minimal, although some have already shown that CBD works on the skin. In any case, our users consistently and independently report the positive effects.

Therefore, we would like to give you an overview of the beneficial properties of CBD cosmetics:

Antioxidant: CBD cosmetics prevent premature skin ageing by neutralising free radicals.

Free radicals threaten your skin health, and only so-called antioxidants can oxidise them, making sure that they can no longer damage your body. CBD is a natural antioxidant and can therefore help to maintain your skin vital and healthy. When applied to the skin, CBD cosmetics form a "protective film", shielding it from external influences. Furthermore, CBD is said to regulate cell division, which can help prevent certain types of cancer.

However, the latter has not yet been proven by studies. What is certain is that CBD can neutralise free radicals and is even a better antioxidant than vitamin C (up to 50 % more effective).

CBD creams - a natural anti-aging effect

Our CBD cosmetics - especially the CBD Anti Aging Creams - are designed to maintain your skin youthful and healthy. They nourish and moisturize the skin, which accordingly looks smooth, radiant, and restored, reducing wrinkles and bags under eyes.

A convenient feature is that the anti-aging cream can be incorporated into the skincare routine as a make-up base. This way, you can do something good for yourself every day.

Cannabidiol supports healthy nails, cuticles, and hair.

CBD oil is particularly suitable for nails and hair. CBD is said to strenghten the nails and help regulate the growth of cuticles. If you want to nourish and moisturise your hair with CBD, take a few drops of oil and rub it into your scalp. Afterwards, we recommend rinsing with shampoo and water.

Using CBD cosmetics as energising massage oil / soothing body lotion

It seems paradoxical, but it is true: CBD can have a vitalising and relaxing effect at the same time. Are you faced with tension or painful spots on your skin? Then you should try one of our CBD cosmetics.

In such cases, we suggest combining the application with an additional relaxing massage. Cannabidiol is said to relieve pain by interacting with the CB-1 and CB-2 receptors that are part of the skin's endocannabinoid system.

CBD skin oil against psoriasis and eczema

Some studies and numerous testimonials suggest that CBD cosmetics can relieve psoriasis and eczema. Psoriasis, in particular, is caused by an excessive proliferation of keratinocytes. Through a (complex) chemical process, CBD can positively influence this "overproduction". For the same reason, CBD cosmetics are also said to help against eczema.

CBD cosmetics can regulate sebum production

Sebaceous glands are often responsible for irritated skin, irritation, and redness. CBD cosmetics can reduce sebum production by inhibiting the enzyme sebocyt, which would otherwise cause the glands to produce more sebum than necessary. CBD is a sebum aggregator that can simultaneously counteract the inflammatory reaction and support skin regeneration.

In addition, CBD cosmetics can inhibit the proliferation of microorganisms causing skin rash. In case of doubt, uncertainty, or questions, you should always consult a dermatologist.

CBD cosmetics also help with (skin) inflammation

The body is only healthy when the endo-cannabinoid system is in balance. Unfortunately, the skin is often neglected, although CBD has been proven to have an anti-inflammatory effect. As a natural anti-inflammatory, CBD can support the skin's response to inflammation and help to manage skin diseases such as dermatitis or acne.

Since CBD acts locally on the skin, you don't need much of it. This means that a supposedly "low" dosage of 100 mg CBD - or even less - can be completely sufficient in a CBD cosmetic product.

Everybody is different and reacts individually to CBD. Slowly work your way up to your feel-good dose. By the way, there is no danger of a CBD overdose. Initially, a small dab on the skin is always enough to notice the first positive, vitalising effect.

If you want to use CBD for skin diseases, you should use a special therapeutic skin oil, as it contains significantly more CBD (up to 24 % CBD - 2400 mg CBD in 10 ml).

Depending on the severity of the case, we recommend different CBD concentrations. For beginners, we would always recommend our C 1000 mg CBD skin care oil. It is pleasant for the skin and contains 1 gram of pure CBD.

However, if you intend to use the oil to take care of your skin on a daily basis, a comparatively low CBD content is sufficient (e.g., 50 mg in a lip balm or 350 mg in moisturiser). For those who want to enjoy the full power of cannabidiol, we have our organic anti-aging cream containing 700 mg CBD in just 50 ml!

Transparency regarding possible side effects is particularly important to us. Generally speaking, CBD is considered to be almost free of side effects. Even when taking very high doses, according to studies and experience reports, one does not have to fear any serious side effects.

Regarding CBD cosmetics, it must also be emphasised that cannabidiol does not even enter the bloodstream. The risk of possible side effects is, therefore, negligible.

However, our recommendation for CBD cosmetics is the same as for oil: approach it slowly, start with a low dosage, and, if necessary, increase it step by step.
